Scott and I got recently went on a surf trip up north. We've been eyeing a section of coastline for a little bit and the right conditions presented themselves and we decided to go. Here are some of the results.
After a 4 mile hike in the rain we reached the waves, but no watercraft to ride them. The unfortunate part was the 4 miles back to the truck against the wind and rain. The swell was supposed to be up in the morning.
We were waiting for the rangers to open the visitors center in the morning, we bought our off road permit and set off onto the sand. This was the best parking spot around.
I was late on the shutter, but a second before this was taken, Scott dropped into this crazy double up, here he is trying to make it around the section.
This looks like the point as the tide was changing.
